Quick and Healthy Paleo Turkey Cutlets Recipe

Paleo turkey cutlet, healthy turkey cutlets, easy turkey recipeChicken and pork are regulars in my dinner entree rotation — turkey is the other white meat in my house.

Unfortunately, preparing turkey as the pilgrims intended — although delicious — can be a major pain, but if you lose the majority of the bird and keep the breasts, you get all the goodness without all the work.

This marinade is one of my favorites — its quick, it has great flavor and pleases most people — and you can do it with chicken or pork, as well. Enjoy!

Quick and Healthy Paleo Turkey Cutlets Recipe

  • Approximately 1 pound fresh turkey cutlets (free-range, hormone-free)
  • 2 TB coconut aminos (I prefer Coconut Secret)
  • 2 TB Dijon mustard
  • 1 TSP garlic powder
  • 1/2 TB fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 TB fresh thyme
  • 2 TB white wine vinegar
  • 2 TB coconut oil, plus a bit extra for greasing the grill pan

– Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat, grease with extra coconut oil

– Combine all ingredients — excluding turkey — in a small bowl.

– Combine turkey cutlets and marinade in plastic bag. Toss to coat.

– Marinade, preferably overnight, but at least for 4 hours.

– Cook cutlets approximately 4 minutes on each side — will vary depending on  thickness —  until cooked through. Serve warm. Yum!
