Spicy Paleo Chicken Thighs, Spicy Chicken Thighs Recipe, Paleo Baked Chicken ThighsBoneless, skinless chicken breasts are one of the healthiest proteins — low in fat and calories — but, when it comes to flavor, there is something to be said for bone-in, skin-on cuts.

I’ll randomly prepare some bone-in, skin-on breasts or thighs when I’m feeling bored with the healthier alternative and I’m craving a little more flavor. Not to mention, it gives you an excuse to eat with your fingers, which is always a good thing. Finger-lickin’ good.

 

 

 

Paleo Spicy Chicken Thighs Recipe

  •  Approximately 1 pound organic, free-range bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 2 TB coarse-grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 TSP sage
  • 1/4 TSP red pepper
  • 1/4 TSP cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 TSP garlic powder
  • 1/2 TSP oregano
  • 1/2 TSP cumin
  • 1 TB raw honey

– Preheat oven to 375 degrees

– Combine all ingredients and pour marinade over chicken, being sure to get marinade under skin.

– Marinade 6-8 hours

– Bake chicken for approximately 35 minutes or until juices run clear.

– Serve hot. Yum 🙂
