Tangerine Pistachio, Healthy DessertsTis’ the season to eat a ton of crap.

Sadly, it’s true.

But try to resist the urge, as it’s not always worth it. One piece of cheesecake has me feeling like shit for a full 24 hours, so I always try to steer clear of dairy-heavy and processed desserts, no matter how tempting the options are.

This super easy little dessert/appetizer can help to satisfy that holiday sweet tooth. It’s super yummy and sweet but without all the processed crap that is in so many other holiday treats.

Three ingredients. And you can easily switch out the fruit and nut combo to your liking. I also sometimes throw in a little diced dried fruit with my nuts for some added flavor; play around with it. Fun. Easy. Healthy.

Healthy Paleo Desserts: Chocolate, Pistachio-Covered Tangerines

– Peel and separate tangerines.

– Melt dark chocolate using double broiler.

– When melted, dip one half on tangerine in melted chocolate and then dip in chopped pistachios.

– Transfer to fridge and let cool for 20 minutes before serving.
